(a)      SGSY ( Swaran Jayanti Gram Swarozgar Yojna  )

 

 

This programme aims to provide employment opportunities to all familes living below poverty line.  This programme is implemented through BD & POs and DRDA.  Loans are got arranged from the banks and subsidy is released by DRDA.  Maximum subsidy of Rs. 1.25 lacs is released to one group.  One group consists of 10-20 members.   The total funds available during the year was worth Rs. 127.90 lacs. The expenditure has been incurred to the tune of Rs. 126.37 lacs upto 31.03.2005 against the available  funds  and thus achievement is 99.35%.  This Agency has assisted 1083 Sawrozgaris.

 

(B) SGRY  (Sampoorna Grameen Rozgar Yojana 2004-05)

 

This programme aims to provide work for their livelihood to all the persons residing in the villages.  Each labour is paid RS. 30/-  in cash and wheat @ 10 kg to labour perday and this wheat is calculated @ Rs. 5.50 per kg.  The following works are covered under the programme.  This programme is implemented through BD&POs.  The entire funds are allocated in the ratio of 20:30:50 respectively to Zila Parishad, Panchayat Samitis and Panchayats respectitvely.     Thus total fund available under this head was Rs.  450.849 lacs.  Wheat allocation of 3870 mt has also been made for this Distt. during the current financial year .   Out of this allocation Rs.        403.34 lacs has been utilized and wheat to the tune of 3862 mt has been lifted and 3862 mt distributed creating 4.00 lacs  mandays.  The percentage of expenditure comes to 89.462.

 

In formulating Annual Plan and while taking up the works, District Panchayats/ DRDAs and Intermediate Panchayats shall give priority to the works of Soil and Moisture conservation, minor irrigation, rejuvenation of drinking water sources, augmentation of ground water, traditional water harvesting structure, desiltation of village tanks/ ponds etc.

 

(C) IAY   (Indira Awaas Yojana  2004-05)

 

This programme aims to provide houses to BPL families having Kacha Houses or homeless.  This programme is implemented through DRDA and BD & POs.  A grant of Rs. 25000/- is released to IAY beneficiaries for construction of pucca house.   Total fund available under this head was Rs. 150.88.  This Agency has utilized a sum of Rs. 150.00 lacs against the total available funds and constructed 600 new IAY houses.   The percentage of expenditure comes to 99.87.

 

D)        Watershed Development Project

 

          This programme has been launched with two aims for the conservation of ground water and area development.  The following batches have been allocated and 160 Watershed Development Projects, which are as under, have been earmarked.  Total funds allocated to each batch, also the expenditure and percentage of expenditure has been shown.  Funds of RS. 30.00 lacs have been allocated to each Watershed Development Programme.  This programme is implemented through BD&PO and ASCO.  At village, this programme is implemented through Watershed Development Committees and Village Panchayats.

(E)   IREP   (Integrated Rural Energy Programme2004-2005)

 

Main objective of the Integrated Rural Energy Programme of Renewable Energy Department is to aware the public about Energy saving and use of renewable energy devices to meet out varous energy requirements Under this programme varous renewable energy devices are promoted by providing sub sidy on the devices. 

 

A sum of Rs. 5.85 lacs was received as Grant-in-aid. Out of these total available funds of Rs. 5.85 lacs, Rs. 5.01 lacs have been utilized during the current financial year upto March 2005.

 

 (F)  TSC (Total Sanitation Compaign)

 

During the current financial year a new programme namely Total Sanitation Campaign has been launched in the district.  A sum of Rs. 115.80 was released by the Central Govt. being Ist installment.  Out of this total available funds Rs.  48.88 lacs   have been spent on the following activities.  The percentage of expenditure comes to 42.21.

 

(G)       MPLAD (Member of Parliament Local Area Development)

 

During the current financial year there was opening balance of Rs. 67.55 lacs and a sum of Rs. 245.46 was received as grant and a sum of Rs. 20.86 lacs was received as Misc. received.  Thus under this project there was total funds of Rs. 333.88 lacs.  Out of this total funds Rs. 176.64 have been released to various implementing department.  The percentage of release of funds comes to 52.9.
