Old Age Pension :-

The protective umbrella of Social Security in the form of Old Age Pension was Provided to Old, Destitute Persons in 1964 for the first time. The beneficiaries who are more than 60 Years of age and permanent resident of Haryana Governement get Old Age Pension @ Rs. 300/- per month. Total beneficiaries under the scheme are 69064. A sum of Rs.18,18,02,300 has been distributed during the Year 2004-2005 as Old Age Pension.

Widow Pension :-

The scheme was started during 1979-80. Under this scheme, Financial Assistance @ Rs. 300/- per month w.e.f. 11/2004 is granted to those Widows whose annual income is less than Rs. 10,000/- per annum and are permanent resident of Haryana State. A sum of Rs. 8,21,17,600/- has been distributed to 30329 Widows during the Year 2004-2005 as Widow Pension.

Pension to Physically Handicapped :-

This scheme was started during the Year 1980-81. Under this scheme, Physically Handicapped persons (aged 18 Years or above) who have no means of subsistence or cannot do any work to earn their livelihood are eligible for pension @ Rs. 300/- per month (w.e.f. 11/2004) provided that they are permanent resident of Haryana and physical handicapped percentage is more than 70 % and annual income is less than 10,000/-. A sum of Rs. 2,17,43,900/- has been distributed to 8166 Physically Handicapped Beneficiaries during the Financial Year 2004-05.

National Family Benefit Scheme :-

This scheme was started from 15-08-1995 under this scheme, on the death of bread enrner, lying in BPL whose age is 18 to 64 years gets ten thousands rupees. The form of this scheme should be submitted with in one year of death along with Photo, Ration Card & affidavt.
