1. Area/Nature of work: 3 offices are located in District Hisar.

i) These offices provide registration facilities for employment to the um-employed youths in the District Hisar.

ii) Providing placement services to the employers in both public and private sector in the District Hisar. Which lead to the provision of jobs for the unemployed youths.

iii) Providing renewal of registration to the unemployed youths.

iv) Preparing Employment Market Information data on regular basis.

2. Government Scheme:- Disbursing unemployment allowance to the registered eligible unemployed youths of the District Hisar. Presently all those domicile of Haryana who are Metric and above with the Exchanges as on 1.11.2004 are getting unemployment allowance.

3. Attached offices/Field offices with complete details: Town Employment Exchange Hansi which provides registration, renewal, vocational guidance, disbursing unemployment allowance to the unemployed youths.

ii) University Employment Information and Guidance Bureau Hisar located

4. Available infrastructure/facilities: Divisional Employment Exchange has three Employment Officer, 2 Assistants, 1 Statistical Assistant with supporting staff , 25 employees. The office is headed by Divisional Employment Officer. The office provides Registration, renewal, vocational guidance, self employment and disbursing unemployment allowance to the unemployed youths. It maintain Employment Market Information in the District Hisar and Fatehabad. The office has computer which stores the data of registration, renewal and unemployed allowance.

5. Kinds of services provided to the public: General registration, one family one job registration, vocational guidance, unemployment allowance, Self employment , placement to the employer, submission of applicants against vacancies, displaying vacancies on board, submission of application forms to the D.G.E.& T. and Central Employment Exchange New Delhi.

6. Statistical Data: Employment Market Information Unit Total Employment in the District E.R.I Returns collected from 734 establishments in Public & Private Sector revealed that there were 37920 employees in Public Sector and 13167 employees in Private Sector at the end of Quarter ending December,2004.

7.Major Achievements. Rs.6077600/- were disbursed as unemployment allowance to Rs.47981/- applicants since the scheme started 1.11.04, through actual payment receipts which is prepared by these offices to be village wise in District Hisar. 37164 applicants were registered during the year ,118 vacancies were received and 380 applicants were submitted against these vacancies were various employees. 18 vacancies were filled in Public and Private Sector. At the time of Registration 4325 applicants were given Vocational guidance.
