INTERODUCTION:-
The jurisdiction of this Division canal supplies are received from
Tail B.M.L system
and also from B.M.L. Barwala Sirsa
Branch System Adampur
Water Services Division a Unit of Irrigation Haryana, with its Head
Quarter at Hisar is entrusted with its works of Running & Maintenance of
Irrigation Channels. The jurisdiction of this Division cover the parts of Hisar, Jind and Fatehabad Districts and One
No. Inter State channel i.e. Sidhmukh Feeder from RD. 0 to 122900 with discharge of 575 cs. and delivers share of Rajasthan at Haryana Contact
Point and also 355 cs. water supplied to Rajasthan
Govt. through Kishangarh Link Channel. There are 44 No. Irrigation Channels with 425.10 K.M. length.
In the jurisdiction of this there are 95 No. villages 77 of Hisar, 14 of Fatehabad
and 4 No. Jind District for which irrigation is
applied to the fields and Raw water for drinking and cattles is provided through these irrigation channels. In all there 72 No. water works tanks which
are supplied Raw water, on the channel 431 outlets are
installed for irrigation purpose. There is no flood \one area in the
jurisdiction of this Division. In the
Estate Sub Division Maintenance of following Pump Houses are
done 1. Rupana Pump House, 2. Deosar Pump House,
3- Jagan Pump House, 4-Gorchhi Pump House, 5-Mallapur
Pump House, and Basra Pump House for irrigating fields in lift channels.
On closing of HS MITC the repairs/remodeling of pucca
water courses have been assigned to this Division and the repair of
watercourses is in progress. Separate list is shown as per Annexure-A, B,C & D and funds to the tune of Rs. 778 Lacs.
This Division consists of 4 No. Sub
Division with Head Quarter at Hisar , Barwala and Adampur. The jurisdiction of each Sub Division has
divided to facilitate the Running & Maintenance work properly as

The work on Rapair/Remodelling of lined
watercourse had been started during this year. After taking the record of
watercourses from defunct HS MITC offices, the proposal for repair/remodeling
